Weli Law Office was founded by Dr. Tony J.H. Lu in Taipei, Taiwan in 1981.  At that time, Taiwan was experiencing vast change in its economy and society.  Taiwan enacted many new laws and policies.  For example, the Labor Standard Law, the Fair Trade Law, the relevant laws on intellectual property rights, China investment and trade regulations, the Consumer Protection Law, the laws on construction and the Government Procurement Law, etc.
